Integrate Online Donations into Online Candidate
For PayPal users, first get the HTML code you need for your PayPal button from PayPal itself. You need an account with them to do this. Go to PayPal > Merchant Tools > Website Payments > Donations. Follow the instructions to create your button. Then copy and save the HTML code that is produced. (Saving this code to a text file is recommended.)
After you have your HTML code (from whatever source), there are two ways to add the Donation Button to your Online Candidate website. To add the button to your Contribute/Volunteer page, log into your administration account > Site Setup > Contribute Code. Copy your button code into that box and Submit Changes. When you Regenerate Site, the button will automatically appear to the top of the Contribute page. Be sure to test the button and make sure it all works.
You may also add the raw HTML code directly into the HTML code of any page(s) you choose. Be careful that you do not mess up the button code, and always test the button when you are done.
